Kwon Heemang lives a reclusive life. With no job and no close connections, she spends her days shut away from the world.
Everything changes after an unexpected accident grants her the ability to see ghosts. At the hospital, she meets Kim Sarang, a lingering spirit who refuses to leave her alone. Sarang promises to move on peacefully—on one condition. Heemang must help resolve her final regret, which centers on someone she loved.
Sarang had only just confessed her feelings and begun a relationship before dying a month later. Unable to let go, she asks to borrow Heemang’s body for a little more time. Before Heemang can object, Sarang possesses her and rushes off to find the person from her past.
That person turns out to be Woo Tae-min, a college student several years younger than Heemang. Recently discharged from military service, Tae-min is celebrating at a campus gathering when Heemang—still possessed—suddenly kisses him.
When the possession fades, Heemang realizes what has happened and flees in humiliation, convinced others will judge her harshly. Meanwhile, Tae-min becomes the center of campus gossip after the unexpected encounter.
Yet instead of feeling upset, Tae-min feels strangely exhilarated. He has always been drawn to confident, mature partners—and from that moment on, he finds himself deeply interested in Heemang.
