I wonder if that sword from his first life is like a holy sword that teaches. Like he showed our mc the hardship of life and no mana. It showed him pain and suffering. Then it returned him into past wanting him to use his mana to the fullest and overpower others becoming perfect vessel for the sword. Or was he poisoned and his mana paths locked with the poison so he could fail miserably ?
